Accessibility Statement

Our commitment and approach to maintaining an accessible website

EmmaMaslen.com is committed to working towards making this site as accessible and easy to use as possible.

We took accessibility into account when we built and tested the site, and we will continue to test it as its content and the technologies used to access it change.

We test on a range of desktop and mobile platforms and using built-in and third party assistive technology products and plugins.

Alt-text is provided for all images which are essential to convey essential information to understand the meaning of the current webpage, such as diagrams about how to do something. When an image is decorative, no alt-text is provided to not have superfluous information which would delay screen reader users from reaching the essential information in the page.

Feedback on this site

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this website. If you have any problems using the site or any suggestions on how we could improve accessibility, please email us at [email protected].

When reporting problems, you may find it useful to read Contacting Organisations about Accessible Websites.
If we are made aware of any accessibility issues on the site we will publish them as part of this accessibility statement with a timeline of when we expect to remedy the issue.

Our main basis for accessibility testing is the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, but because these are now quite old, we’ve tried to adhere to the principles underpinning them rather than explicitly meeting the individual criteria.
