Who is You Inc?
Do you know how others perceive you? Aligning your opinion of yourself and others' perception is important.
The planning process for achieving any endeavour is critical, in this case, the endeavour is YOUR career, so it's useful the think of yourself in the third person i.e. You Inc. This helps remove emotion so you can objectively look at yourself and your advisors.

When was the last time you sought feedback?
Achieving our goals is, somewhat, influenced by others, so it is vital to understand their perception of you. To really understand You Inc, do a Brand Review in three steps:
1. Solicit feedback - scary, but don't shy away from it. Use the three-word feedback model. Write down three words that describe you and ask others for their three words. Then compare their alignment.
2. Understand why you want the feedback - is it to silence your inner critic, influence others or prepare for the next process in your career? Use the feedback to make an action plan to plug any gaps.
3. Make your feedback actionable - How aligned are your words versus those fed back to you? If they aren't aligned, consider re-evaluating your strategy to ensure your brand and the opinions of others match.
